“Dhaka to Witness Massive ‘March for Gaza’ Protest This Saturday Against Israeli Aggression”

In a powerful display of solidarity with the people of Gaza, a mass protest titled “March for Gaza” is set to take place this Saturday, April 12, in Dhaka. The demonstration, organized by the Palestine Solidarity Movement Bangladesh, will begin at 3 PM from Shahbagh and proceed to Manik Mia Avenue in the form of a grand procession.
Prominent public figures from various fields are expected to join the march. Renowned Islamic scholars Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari and Sheikh Ahmadullah, former national cricket team captain Mahmudullah Riyad, southern coordinator of the National Citizen Party Hasnat Abdullah, and BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed have all expressed their support and urged people to participate.
According to the organizers, this event aims to raise global awareness against Israeli atrocities and express unwavering solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. They have extended an open call for participation from people of all walks of life.
The organizers believe this protest will be one of the largest pro-Palestine gatherings ever held in Dhaka, with thousands expected to attend.
To ensure safety and order, law enforcement agencies have made special security arrangements, and traffic police will control movement on specific roads during the march.
